1. Refund Eligibility
We understand that mistakes can happen, and circumstances may change. Therefore, we offer a full refund on donations under the following conditions:
- The donation was made in error (e.g., incorrect amount, unintended duplicate donation)
- There is a valid reason for requesting a refund (e.g., financial hardship, change in circumstances)
2. Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:

- Provide the following information:
- Receipt Date
- Receipt ID
- Donated Amount
- Reason for requesting a refund
3. Refund Timeline
We aim to process all refund requests within 5-7 business days of receiving the request. The time it takes for the refunded amount to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.
4. Refund Method
Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment when possible:
- For credit/debit card donations: The refund will be credited back to the original card used for the donation.
- For bank transfers: The refund will be sent to the original bank account.
- For cash donations: We will work with you to determine the best method for refunding the donation.
5. Limitations
- Refund requests should be made within 30 days of the original donation date.
- We reserve the right to deny refund requests that we deem unreasonable or fraudulent.
- Tax receipts issued for the original donation will be voided upon refund.
6. Non-Refundable Items
Please note that the following are non-refundable:
- The INR 800 fee paid for the Notary process when admitting a resident to Dikranu Ghar (Old Age Home)
